Need to repair headphone jack on iPod Video

Hi all,
I have an iPod Video, 5.5G (30Gb).

Headphone jack has decided that I only deserve left-channel audio, so I need to know a reputable repair shop, and/or if it's easy enough to do myself.

you can pick up the required part from ebay easy enough or directly from ifixit

I'd do it myself tbh, unless you are very clued it to what you are doing. Last thing you wanna do is create another problem, and then arrive in with a unit that has had obvious tampering. If you are confident after reading the instructions that you know what you are at, go for it, but if you have any doubt, hand it in tbh. At least if anything goes wrong, you can blame someone else.

The ipod radio remote.
Bit pricey though.

Actually -- seeing as it's close enough to the price as an installation, this seems like a perfect excuse to buy one!
