I got myself a present of an S5 last August. Having previously used point and shoot Casio and FujiFilm camera. My mates have various Canon and Nikon DSLRs and though this would suit me.I really like the S5,find it very easy to use. I have several questions. I trawled through the most recent pages and haven't seen a similar thread.

I find myself since Christmas wanting to improve my usage of the camera. Unfortunately I seem to have misplaced my Advanced User Guide. I have it on disc but prefer physical things. Is it possible to purchase this somewhere?

I know that the S5 has abilities that I do not really know how to take advantage of. I generally take landscapes from the air and aviation shots. I also use Picassa2 on the laptop which I find easy to use and useful to bring out the colours which aerial shots can lose.

Can you recommnend a good book for basic instruction. Things like aperture, shutter speed,ISO etc. I would like to know how to adjust manually for some of my shots rather than using the (very useful) default settings.I have seen several titles but not sure which to get. The photo mags seem a bit overwhelming to me.

Thanks in advance for any advice
