SBG Ireland Announcement

from Andy Ryan and John Kavanagh

SBG Northside are leaving the SBG Ireland group to become part of Rodrigo Meideros Ireland Team (http://www.rodrigomedeirosbjj.com/). This will have no effect on PCA’s MMA events or the running of the IBJJA.

SBG Ireland and Rodrigo Meideros Ireland Team will be hosting a joint seminar with Rodrigo Meideros in late May, details to follow, where Rodrigo will be teaching for 1 or 2 days at both gyms. This will be the first of a number of joint seminars with world class BJJ and MMA instructors that the two teams will be bringing over together.

Personally I’d like to wish Andy and the team all the best for the future and look forward to continued co-operation between the two teams. When I started on the ‘grappling’ scene I was lucky enough to meet Andy when he was at his peak on the Judo scene and it was his dedication and training ethic that inspired me to compete and train hard – so thanks for that!

If you've any questions on this speak to Andy or I directly.

    thanks

    Speaking as a newsman...

Jesus lads. You guys need a few lessons in how to have a split. It's not "thankyou very much for your friendship and support, lets hold a seminar together", it should be "He slept wih one of my students, so I let the air out of his tyres and then he tied my wife to the railway lines, so I ate 12 burgers and went to his gym toilet and blocked it up"

THAT'S how to split, THAT'S the Taekwondo way! Your way gives me nothing to write about except the love, and love doesn't sell!:D

Seriously though, best of luck to Andy and co.

Ahem! I'm pretty sure there's already more than 2 good teams in Dublin and has been for some time :D

On another note best of luck to Andy and all the fighters formerly known as SBG Northsiders

Ger, I have more shocking news. My mate is going out with a Korean girl and the poem "I shall not serve another master though I might be crucified a thousand times" is NOT known to every Korean.

    I was devastated.
