How do you connect the ps 3 60 to eircom broadband wirelessly

Does any one have any tips on this as i,m struggling to get connected in following the PS3 instructions

On PS3 select "network settings" under the settings heading & press x

Select "internet connection settings" & press x

Select "yes" on the message about internet connection terminating & then press x

Select "wireless connection"

Select "easy"

have your wep key to hand

ya would be better off changin ur wep to wpa-psk first cos its better encryption

On some routers there is one which is pre installed, and its written on the base of the router.

You might not have encrypted a WEP also, yoou might not need it.

You can check the WEP if you have a computer connected to the router, also. Go to 192.168.1.254 and check the settings.

If it's a netopia wireless router, when you're setting it up at first it generates a WEP key and finalises with a box displaying the network ID and WEP Key.

If you click on the desktop link that it puts there titled "Eircom Broadband Connection", it'll open the admin page for the wireless network.

Then click "Wireless" in the menu on the left hand side and it has your WEP (Encryption Key) listed on the right hand side there, under Privacy.

Then follow the above instructions on your PS3, it should scan for a wireless network, select yours and then it'll ask for the WEP key, which you have to type in then.
