I liked the astrology and religion part, the 911 was same old, new world order bit at the end about the new currency was interesting.

Its worth watching, even though alot of what is been told is lies, but it makes you think what if?, which is what it was meant to do..

Is that one of those conspiracy theory movies?

it's very good, the religion bit was very interesting

Yes, I've seen it. It would be very educational and informative if it didn't eventually run away with itself with conspiracy theorist nonsense.

I'd recommend the BBC "Power of Nightmares" for a far more realistic and honest account of what brought about 9/11, neo-cons, the war on terror etc.

The religion bit was good, the way other pagan religions have been incorporated to Christianity.

Its a while ago since i seen it, was it the one that covered Denver airport, that was a good conspiracy story.

any one that liked it should look for a movie by a guy called Alex Ross called EndGame.Follows the same themes but uncovers more conspiricies that are kind of hard to argue with considering the proof he has in the movie, including video interviews or old video footage of world leaders.

I watched it. It is worth watching as it gives you food for thought.

I did a bit of research on it (very hard to do on the net with so many conspiracy sites) and to be honest a lot of it's claims are just plain nonsense. Still, worth a watch none the less.

Ive seen the one from Alex Jones..

No totally different movie(I'm like 99% sure anyway), Endgame more on the new world order and the bildenburg group, he has another one about the 911 conspiricies ahven't seen it yet but is supposed to be good.

i was mostly alarmed by the tax thing... most of us pay a quarter of our wages to tax... 3 months of our wages go towards tax... does that mean that the govt r owned by the banks and that we're born into this debt???? is that why we're working 5 days a week instead of two... to pay the banks back???? can anyone shed any light on this for me? it's just baffling...

It's a roundabout way of looking at things that fills in any gaps with conspiracies. Depending on how you look at it, you can make any sort of sense you like out of it.

The main problem I've seen with these kind of movies is that they brush over things and don't go in depth on one topic. So you're left without much memory of every point they are trying to make over so many different subjects.

Like, what did the makers of Zeitgeist sit down and talk about before making it?

"Right, we're going to make a film that shows the whole world is a massive big conspiracy, we'll go all the way from the birth of religion to the future of currency, and we'll do it ALL in 2 HOURS!"

If they want to be convincing, they have to concentrate on structuring fool proof arguments on more focused topics.

One I saw recently and thought was good was "Why do we fight?", which dealt only with the political and industrial interests in having the world at war, and it stayed on topic for the whole film and kept a fairly solid argument throughout.

I saw it and even I, a student of average intelligence and knowledge was able to see a fair few inaccuracies in it.

The Pagan:Christianity bit was interesting, aswell as the thing about the American Doller being owned by the banks was quite, but it all seemed a bit too 'the end is nigh' to be believable, especially when the 9/11 things started being mentioned. I done a bit of research into and indeed a lot of it is nonsense, but a lot of it isnt, jsut take it with a picn of salt* and its a decent enough watch.

Goings to recommend 'Why we Fight' and 'The Power of Nightmares', but BBC documentaries if memory serves. Their both very interesting and infinately more believable, they dont portray politicians as evil baby eating daemons that a lot of these documentaries do, but shows them as powerful people looking for a little more power one step at a time.

*a rather large sack may be needed

Zeitgeist is a bit like an introduction to conspiracy theories if you ask me. Perhaps it would be a good starting point for people interested in such things.
