ok, so tell me, how many people first got into boosh, or tend to find themselves somewhat drunk/drugged/in an altered state of mind while watching the boosh?

there were a few references to this in the first boosh thread, and in real life(tm), though it was with two boardsies, i believe blitzkrieg accused monkeyfudge of being one of the only humans to watch the boosh while sober...

personally, i love them while sober, but my main introductions all involved alcohol/me in a fairly altered state of mind. i'd often watch series two and not remember that i'd watched certain episodes teh night before, and as for the last episode of series three...? eek!

i count being drunk as mind altering, tbh. certianly alters my perspective, mood and personality. (not in a bad way, IMO).

Must admit I wasn't in an altered state when I first got into it, nor am I when I watch it/listen to audio recordings of it. I can see how it would appeal to stoners, but I don't think you have to be one to enjoy it or that stoners are it's main/only target audience.

oh no, i wasn't implying that it was just stoners, id usually watch it at home with a mix of both drunk and stoned people, it was our weekly session to get together, get drunk, have a laugh and watch boosh.

Usually stone cold sober. Alot of my friends tell me that me is sober is most people stoned. I don't know if they mean it as a compliment!

I'm watching the first season as we speak. Stone cold sober but dosed up on Uniflu (does that count?).

Absolutely loving it though.. can't believe I didn't watch it sooner!

It's probably the Booshes affect on us that people think we live in a perpetually altered state of mind!

Don't think I've ever watched it drunk but couldn't sleep one night so was in that kind of dopey/sleepy state and was watching TV when I came across it and thought what the fudge is this. I thought it was my little secret for months before I realised how popular it actually is.

I miss those days when it was just me and them.
