Avoid Rosetta Stone!

If you are looking for something to help you learn a language, I strongly recommend you avoid Rosetta Stone. For a start, it's a rip off. I paid £130 for mine and it doesn't teach you much at all. Then, when I tried to sell it on ebay, Rosetta Stone complained to ebay and made them remove my listing. Why? It's not illegal to sell second hand products on ebay! They are only trying to stop people from selling their programme second hand because no one wants to pay so much for it! Avoid them! Its the biggest waste of money.

And I'm not the only one who has been stopped from reselling it: http://cobranchi.com/?p=6972

I was thinking about buying this but having second thoughts now. On the site though it says that if you are not happy you can get your money back, just wondering did you try that?

Yea, try and get your mone back and report back.
I did the online trial and felt it didn't suit me. Good to get some first hand feedback though.
What language were you using it for?
