If I leave my horrible job do I still get a p45 or is it another form I get? Apologies for the stupid question but I'm a bit green about Tax. I'm not under a contract in my job btw

Your employer will issue you with a P45. Why wouldn't they?

A p45 is a particular of all your employment information from the start of the tax year to date. You received it when your employemt is terminated as a record of deductions and credits made to the date of the termination. Your new employer uses it to calculate remaining credits, etc. You're probably confused because employers issue a P60 around this time or earlier even which is a statement of all of last years pay and tax.
