    Hi there,
    Found this there today http://www.aldi.ie/ie/html/offers/2867_5051.htm.

    Intel® Pentium® dual-core Processor T2330 (1.6 Ghz, FSB533, 1 MB L2 Cache)
    NVIDIA® GeForce® 9300M G PCI-Express Technology 128MB GDDR3
    15.4" TFT WXGA widescreen display
    1280 × 800 Pixel, 16:10 widescreen format 1280 × 800 resolution
    Express Card DVB-T Tuner incl. remote control
    Integrated VGA webcam with microphone
    3GB Ram
    Vista HP

    Just wondering does anybody have any experience with medion laptops?

    Ive ordered a DELL 1525 over a month ago which is due on Thursday but its been delayed once and im presuming its going to be delayed for another while.
    The Dell has roughly the same spec bar the gfx and wondering should i drop it and go for this as I cant really wait much longer.

    I cant find the weight or details for the battery on the Medion anywhere tho!:confused:

    OK for the price, nice connectivity and features, but fairly basic otherwise. What are the spec's of the Dell you ordered? For any normal day to day tasks the Aldi one is more then sufficient.

    Inspiron 1525 Pentium Dual Core T2330 1.60Ghz, 533, 1MB 1
    Display 15.4" Widescreen WXGA (1280x800) with TrueLife 1
    LCD Back Cover Alpine White Custom High-Gloss 1
    Memory Dual-Channel 2048MB (2x1024) 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM 1
    Hard Drive 120GB Serial ATA (5400 RPM) 1
    Optical Drive 8xDVD+/-RW Drive including SW 1
    Battery Inspiron Optional 4-cell 28WHr Li-Ion 1
    Battery Inspiron Primary 9-cell 85WHr Li-Ion 1
    Graphic Intel Integrated GMA X3100
    670 quid

    I emailed Dell this morning to find out if it was going to be delayed again and now they are saying on or before the 5th of March so I think Dell can say goodbye to me ever doing business with them ever again. How a company can sell a computer with a 7 week wait is beyond me at this stage!

    I think im going to get a cheap HP off laptopsdirect.ie instead, the medion looks nice but im just thinking if they are not giving info on the battery or the weight it must be bad!

    Yeah the Aldi one looks far better....bigger hard drive, better video card, more memory, not to mention the extras - webcam, tv tuner, hdmi connectivity, etc. Quite likely the battery is a 6 cell though...one to check out.

    Cheers for the help mate, change of idea's and deciding to go with a cheepo acer

    * Processor - Intel Pentium Dual Core T2330 / 1.6 GHz ( Dual-Core )
    * RAM - 1 GB (installed)DDR II SDRAM - 533 MHz ( 2 x 512 MB )
    * Hard Drive - 80 GB
    * Operating System - Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium (for one boot, It has one chance to not fail!!!!)
    * Screen - 14.1" TFT 1280 x 800 ( WXGA )
    * Optical Drive - DVD±RW
    * Graphics - Intel GMA X3100
    Only 480 so I have a little left over to go towards a 22" for the PC instead :):)
