not sure how nerdy ye'all are but...

Just got back from Safari, plugged in the SD card and bam it's corrupted. I recovered the data on it to my computers hard disk (all in jpg format).

I'm left with what look like all my photos and what look like the right sizes. I can't open them in any image viewer/editor. So I tried JPEG recovery 2.0 and scanned the directory.

The program can read nearly all the photos. However each photo is missing anywhere from 40-90% of the image. I assume this is to do with header info.

    Any ideas?

    iMG_0223.zzz

I've attached a photo for anyone needing a sample. I've had to rename it to a *.zzz

Ok, here's my guess - do you shoot raw, jpg or some other format?

The files will be in the format you shoot (even if your recovery application calls them .jpg).

So, if you shoot raw, then rename the file to .CR2 (or .NEF).

    Give it a try.
