Hi Guys and girls just wondering if I have any grounds to complain against PLAY.com.

Over the past few months I've been buying Star Wars Force FX Light Sabers through a friend of mine in Belfast and then he ships them to Dublin for me. Thereby getting around the "no delivery on gadgets to the Republic" rule that PLAY have in place.

In mid January I ordered two Darth Maul Lightsabers costing €125 each, I have seen these items on other sites for about €250 each + shipping.

Having placed the order they arrived on Fiday (15th of Feb) after four weeks of waiting but only half my delivery arrived. My friend got in touch with PLAY (as they were bought through his account) only to be told they were out of stock and would never be back in stock again due to manufacturer losing the licence to make them. They offered my friend a refund on his credit card and that was it.

Lo and behold I check PLAY this morning (18th Feb) and they are back in stock and now €30 more expensive at €155 each.

Have PLAY pulled a "fast one" on me by issuing the refund and then putting the item back up for sale at a higher price?

I feel they should honour the original price as they said they were not getting any more stock ever again or should I just buy the item at the new price?

I kinda feel ripped off.
