hello im a dublin drummer 40, seeking in or around same age musicians to form a good cover/or no covers band.
im hopeing to find singer,lead guitarist, bass guitarist and rythm maybe, keyboard player, maybe male or female makes no odds, so long as your willing to put a bit of time and effort in to get this thing moveing;;

Guitar Player, Singer/Bass Player, Keyboard Player and a Drummer.. however the drummer we have wants to play the harmonica rather than drum...

where are you based, what type of music are you guys into, and whats with the drummer and the harmonica??

We are based in Navan...
Influences are a wide range of old school rock n' roll, psychedelic rock, blues rock etc..

We are only all playing together for a few months now.. so at the moment we are just jamming and finding the style we are all happy with playing.. at the moment every jamming session seems to be a Spaceman 3 / Spiritualised type of sound with some classic blues rock thrown in ..

But we are all very open to working on something perhaps a little different.. We have a violin player that is trying to free up some time to make some regular practice sessions as well.

The drummer / harmonica player...

We had a drummer that is moving down to cork and the other drummer played harmonica instead... so since our original drummer is off to cork, harmonica player is playing drums.. but he seems to be more interested in playing the harmonica...

But we are still adjusting and getting settled at the mo anwyay

im based in dublin but could travel for a session if it goes that way, do you have somewhere private to rehearse or is it a rehearsal studio meaning kip for short??

Sounds good mate... We are rehearsing at a mate recording studio .. it is actually really nice .. only a new place.

We tend to practice every Sunday.. Sure let me know when you might be interested to hook up and i'll let the lads know.. or I can even just meet you up in Dublin and just get introduced so to speak ..

if you've not found a band yet, we're looking for a drummer. we play mostly acoustic tunes at the moment with some djembe drums and badhran all original songs. Our line up is 2 acoustic guitars, bass guitar violin and vocals. Our lead guitar player is leaving the country for a few months and we hope to find a drummer while he is away. we range in age from 22 to 40ish...we definitely are not looking for a metal drummer, just someone with ryhthm and imagination and subtelty.
