Just watched 4x03 on Sky one. Any one else watch it?

I thought it was an entertaining episode, with a couple of subtle hints, but what do they MEAN?

    In no particular order:

Daniel Farraday does a test between the ship and the island. He sets up a beacon, and someone fires a homing rocket at it. It arrives, but it is 31 minutes off his clock. I see a throw back to the first Back to the future movie where Doc Brown sent his dog into the future by one minute, and his clock was off by one minute. In 2005, one of the writers hinted Danielle's expedition was part of a group studying time. Could this be what makes the island so different, and if so, why?

After they get off the island, Sayid becomes some kind of hired assasin for, of all people, Ben. WTF is that all about? Ben said hw had to keep jilling the people on the list to keep the losties safe from harm. Who is he killing? Members of the Dharma board perhaps?

I dont know about you but I personally find the flash forwards a pain in the A55. The flashbacks were a nice and new idea for a series, and the teaser at the end of the last season, was kind of nice, but when watching flash forwards it feels like I picked up a book and the middle five chapters are missing.

Does anyone have any ideas, thoughts, impressions etc on tonights episode. I am close to forming a space-time continuum type theory for the island, but the rest of it has me stumped. I off now to find my copy of "A brief history of time". If any one has a theory, I am happy to hear it.
    Failed to load the poll.
