Asus screen replacement

My brother needs a replacement screen for his Asus A6JA-Q024P 15". It's cracked badly and liquid covers the top 1/3 of screen. I've emailed a couple of places about 2 weeks ago but no replies. I had a quick look at sticky but can anyone recommend where to get a replacement screen. Can do the job myself but need the screen. I think he called Asus and they were looking for about €800 which is a rip-off. Reckon I could pick up a screen for about €200. Anyone get their Asus screen repaired before?

You might want to try these guys. I don't know if you'll get it there but it's worth a shot. Failing that try ebay.

Second for ebay, take the laptop apart and remove the screen, get the part number of the screen and search ebay for it.
Should pick one up for €150ish or therebouts.

Cheers guys. Had already contacted that crowd with no response. Will take screen off and check ebay for part number. Already checked ebay for laptop model number but no joy.

Contacted these guys again and they got back to me with a price. Paying about €190 inc delivery from UK for the screen

Good job, not too bad a price for the screen and will be vat/duty free as from UK. Hopefully the screen swap goes according to plan!
