    Hi,
    Would apprecicate if anyone had advice/ideas for getting into good school in uk. Dos and donts, what to look for or avoid in schools maybe.

    I would check their Ofsted report, which usually says a lot about the school. Just google them and enter any school name. Working in the independent sector will not guarantee a better school but I do and I don't have half the nightmares that teachers in the state sector have, but there is more admin and marking etc..
    Depending on your subject there are still plenty of jobs on the tes.co.uk website
