Chorus/UPC digital, HELP...ARRRGGGHHH!!!

    Hi,

    I have 3 digital TV boxes, and a headache !! I have no TV out of the blue this morning, customer service is useless cos the guys on the phone are not technies so they dont know what to do?? :mad: All I got was "The earliest I can send you an engineer is Thursday :eek: Hello???? no TV at all till Thursday???

    After the "init" I get the first screen with number, I hit "ok" then goes to the one that says "Your Network Name is" "adquiring network name" and then ? . It all ends there :confused:

    Does anybody know what to do??? going through other bits on the menu I see I have weak signal and poor quality. And on Chorus non existent costumer service, they dont know whY? :mad:

    Should I switch to Sky? would I get Sky installed before Thursday?

    I fixed 2 of the 3 boxes !!!:D Just by increasing the frequency I got signal and quality up, and then everything else worked !!! I cant believe the man on the phone couldnt tell me that !!! useless !!! The other box I think might need to be replaced, I unplugged it and will try again in a hour or so. In will leave the engineer call to ask him to change that box which is the oldest I have.

    the exact same thing happened to me a couple of weeks back, and i was told the earliest would be a week:eek: needless to say i wasnt happy at all so i cancelled chorus and got sky in.phone chorus, tell them that youre moving over to sky and i bet you will get a discount on your account
