HELP! TV Broken?!

Hi I recently put up a thread about my new 47pf7642 Philips HDTV. I bought it as a refurbished product from Luzerntech recently. Everything was working properly until a few days ago I noticed the sound was very harsh.

I tried switching the Incredible Surround options (virtual surround DSP). Normally it would give me either Stereo or Incredible Surround. Now, it gives me Mono or Spatial. This issue occurs with SKY (standard scart connection), Xbox360 (component and stereo phono inputs) and PS3 (HDMI).

So my TV is only giving mono sound. i did not change configuration before this happened. The TV was well looked after.

Nothing physically happened the TV. I've tried changing settings to no effect.

Does anyone know what can be done? Or do you reckon it's a fault?

Thanks for any help you can provide!

hi there it sound like that your sound card is gone but you can check out a few test to see this 1 use headphones on your tv check all stuff like dvd, ps3.etc to get stereo if it works and no stereo sound from your speakers then it your sound card 2 if you can't get your tv fixed to change the sound card, then use phono leads to a amp to get your stereo sound this might help but get your sound card fix ;););)

Sorted: seems that if both the PS3 and Xbox360 are on at the same time, the TV switches to Mono Output only. Strange...
