I won an auction on ebay today for a concert ticket, winning price €30 below face value, the seller emailed me straight after the auction with the following message
"Please do not send payment as the ticket has bn removed, due to original listing buyer required 2 tickets.

    Apologies for any inconvenience caused."

Looking at dispute system in ebay , it appears theres nothing I can do, are there any options here?

nothing you can do I'm afraid, it's common on eBay when the required price hasn't been obtained.

You cannot force the seller to sell although you should report him to ebay

Has the seller not agreed to a contract to sell?He should have used the reserve if he wasn't happy selling below a certain amount. I would have thought you've a case here but my opinion isn't based on any fact.

A case for what? If the seller is refusing to take your money, and wont sell the item, eBay cant exactly fine him or force him to despatch. Its not exactly good cricket, all you can do is post a neg on him.

The new rules do not apply until May. You should report him and leave appropriate feedback then move on
