    Hey,
I've gotten interviews with KPMG and PWC next week for summer internships. Has anyone done these before, and have any advice for the interviews?! I'm not a business student and feel a bit outta my league already!
    Thanks!:)

I've got PWC tomorrow and KPMG on Tuesday. They said the first rounds will be all competency based so there shouldn't be any mad technical questions just general stuff about you and what you did in certain situations.

Have a brief look at what they do and info on the firms on their websites. Beyond that I could almost gurantee you will get asked nothing complex.

Be prepared to talk about yourself. What you do, why you choose the course you did. BE RELAXED, CONFIDENT AND POSITIVE.

Dont get bogged down too much with a million different "tips for interviews". All it is is a conversation about yourself and it is usually pretty(surprisingly) relaxed.

One thing to do though is look at the competencies they are looking for (you will find them on the websites) e.g. things like teamwork, organisation skills, communication and prepare answers to questions like describe a time when you had to work as part of a team. or describe a time when you had to use organisation skills.

Best way to approach it in my experience is not too look at it as a series of test questions with right or wrong answers. Just look at it as a chat where they are trying to suss would they like to work with you and you are trying to suss wheter you would like to work with them. Dont be afraid if you dont undertsand a question or have no answer, they are human beings.

Your non-business degree wont be a problem in the slightest but be prepared for them to ask you why you did the degree and if you think it will effect you.
