Rodrigo Antunes BJJ Seminar, Dublin

Hi folks,

Just a heads up that Rodrigo Antunes, Brazilian Top Team Black Belt and instructor is going to be in Dublin teaching a seminar on the 9th of March in SBG Northside.

I've been burdened with the immense responsibility of helping organise the following seminar....




I realise it isn't the best time what with the Cage of Truth on the night before but it's the only time he'll be able to teach the seminar. I've trained with Rodrigo in Brazil and he's a good instructor with a very clear way of teaching and analyzing someones game quickly.

He is a past European, Brazilian National and Rio state champion.

So its a good chance to get some coaching from an international level BJJ player (while I'm out injured:D )

Spiral - I imagine it will be some of the fundamentals and then a few questions to the attendees and a bit of what they want covered, I've emailed him and asked him to clarify

Hi Wayne, yea there will be privates, I just have to sort out which day suits Rodrigo and Andy, although I'm sure it will be fairly flexible as he'll be here for a few days(the Thursday to the Monday), again, I've emailed him and also asked what he will be charging

Rodrigo got back to me about what he will be covering, to quote the man himself

'I'll cover all aspects of sportive BJJ. Depending on the audience I can show more advanced or intermediate positions. I promised to roll with everyone that attend. '

And €60 for the 1 hour private

Not even dust can get a grip on my HCK JK its the BAT-SUIT of kimonos, forged from dragon scales deep in some Hawaiian volcano by a dwarf called Howard, yet washes incredibly well at 40 degrees.

Just a quick thank you to everyone that turned up yesterday, especially to those coming from other clubs and again a big thanks to Andy for hosting it.

I think everyone enjoyed it and learnt a few things

Hopefully Rodrigo will be back before the end of the year
