Hows about Self Portraits as a challenge

Something I've been meaning to do for a long time, might kick start a few other people too.

It'd be handy to know whos who for the next meet or when we spot someone with a camera in a photo pit/on the street to say hello.


Just a thought anyways.....

After my previous submission for a self portrait challenge I'd be wary of anyone who recognised me from the picture... never did quite get comfortable in front of the camera :rolleyes:

Really love that shot, very classy and beautifully lit

its got a story to it too and a great feel to it


Im not all that worried about recognising people in the photos, was just an idea,
What im plannin as a self portrait is gonna be kinda abstract too. Im terribly camera shy and want to photograph something cool that just happens to have me in shot too.

Never having met you in the flesh as it were, I did several double takes the other day before I asked the name of the girl pictured below - really thought it was you, elven. Turns out she's from the same island but not you after all. She's packing a Canon. And cute as all hell.

Just finished a set for college actually - first time trying it (and boy would a remote switch have come in handy! Note to self!). Have to make a dvd cover... yadda yadda...

Cheers Darren, I've registered, and will be sticking up a copy of this soon, not very imaginative I know, but loads of effort went into getting the "props".;)
