BGRH vomit food

Right so we know certain foodstuff would be considered approved BGRH cuisine for example steak, kababs etc but what, normally considered approved, BGRH cuisine do you find repulsive?

for me it would have to be that deep fried mars bar thing for a start, I nearly puked when I seen it and it put me off my choccy for the day and also Onion rings (from a take away), now I know some brothers might argue that they aren't worthy of BGRH status since they contain a vegetable but lets be honest by the time you get to bite into it the onion has all but vanished and all you're eating is batter that's soaked in grease ***shudders*** and I'm afraid I have to admit I detest rashers, even the smell of them cooking makes me feel ill, so fess up brothers and sisters.

EDIT: It's a given that you all don't like vegetables so don't bother telling us like Jester, Trout and Admiralofthefleet and Brother Tom did dispite multiple explainations of what the thread was about!

You are not worthy of the brotherhood, rashers  They are the staple of any brothers diet! If it moves it can be eaten!

As for vomit food, tofu! Who ever came up with that muck should have been strung up. Wouldn't feed it to my worst enemy!

I find cucumber somewhat pointless. It has no taste.

I don't know why mrs trout insists on buying cucumbers each week. What does she do with them

Yet again wtf?? I said foodstuffs that would normally be considered accetable BGRH cuisine, I don't believe green phalic shaped vegtables fall into that cathegory. Why are the brothers finding this such a hard concept to get their heads around?

I can honestly say, none. :D

Give me grease, salt, sugar, whatever.

Just don't give me turnip. Or parsnip. Which of course are not approved BGRH cuisine, so they are not relevant.

Wimmin, they go off rambling and don't get their point across and then get all upset when you don't know what they are on about  It's as if ye have never heard of the KISS principle! You lost most of the brothers after you mentioned steak and kebab.

Let me rephrase if for the brotherhood, what she's trying to ask is,

Is there anything you don't like to eat that can be bought in the bar?

I like to be specific and obviously it's nesassary but since your rephrase doesn't quite cover it I'd also add

Is there anything you don't like to eat that can be bought in the bar/chipper/kabab shop/fastfood shop?

As burgers are a staple of the BG&RH diet - I have to say that lettuce & tomato make for puke-worthy toppings. Cheese, rashers, onions & pickles are OK.

Batter burgers. I just don't get it.

OK, The sauces that they put on burgers are rotten. Ketchup, Mayonaisse and mustard are just ugggghhhh. THe stuff they put on kebabs though, even if derived from the above, work though.

One day ... and I hope that day is a long time coming ... you may need some soul food ... mmmm!

Try mayonnase, tartar sauce and Ketchup mixed together, you have to practice to get the right balance but it's massive. it's what they use on big kings in burger king, the kebab one is the same stuff only using garlic mayo

The clue is in the name.

They should probably put the word chick in front of all wimmins food, to avoid
any potential confusion of the dimmer Brothers.

Anyone ever had pork scratchings? Like in an english bar style pork scratchings?
Now they are a bit rank. Also, why do smokey bacon flavour crisps only taste nice in the pub?
Also, you can buy flavoured condoms in a bar. I dont like those either. Not enough sugar.

They do a good sweet and sour in the Kingfisher on Parnell St. Good food there in general. OK, it's basically Uncle Bens sauce but plenty of chips and chicken with it.

mussels, oysters, cockells etc. all are inedible. I'm not a fan of coleslaw or quiché.

I'm with Des on this one, proper Pork scratchings (the ones you get in a butchers) are delicious. Crispy, salted pig fat, with litle bits of meat still attached....they're the business.

+3. Can't stand it. I also hate barbecue sauce. It tastes nothing like barbecued food, and is absolutely vile.

I also hate strawberries and strawberry flavoured anything....milkshakes, sweets etc. They're sickening.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 391 ✭✭Beerlao

Cheese is rank... in any format
i hate any fishy fish... that's fish that smells too fishy, normally the stuff with omega-3 oils in it... rotten
the smell of liver cooking is also enough to make me heave, but i love paté
i've never tried it but tripe doesn't appeal much, despite the obvious high man-points value of it
and i think i'd draw the line at eating eyes, and genitalia of any sort... i'll pass on the kangaroo's anus thanks.
in saying that, i've eaten witchetty grub, and it tasted like peanut butter :)

I like battered mars bars. I'll second battered burgers, and add curly fries from mcDonalds.

    Sick.

EDIT: That is to say I don't like battered burgers or curly fries.
