    ok, i'm getting a vsr10 tomorrow and I don't know where I could get a silencer/barrel extender for it???

also, it is about 275fps and I would like to upgrade it to 1joule, but don't know which spring to get...?

    is this what I need?

Why don't you get the vsr-10 gspec? It comes with a silencer.

Im pretty sure the MS90 type spring that eirsoft and MIA are a different type of spring altogether.,

the one in the ebay link is more like it but i think M145 spring will make the gun hot,.,

its not, its a rating for the strenght of the spring.,

    I think it is Metre?
    as in 145 m/ps?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,157 ✭✭✭Compton

    Yes I think that's what it is, an m90 = 295 fps, m145 = 490 fps!

So I presume I need an M90, or should I even bother for an extra 20fps?

Pretty sure that spring will do the trick

But tbh I wouldn't strip it down and change the spring unless you've done it before they are supposed to be a right pain. Its a great gun out of the box good range and very accurate doesn't really need to be upgraded

thanks vtec and cheeky monkey, I will order the 100 spring now, I should have a few free days over the next few weeks so it should be grand!!!!!!

When you do strip it don't forget to re grease everything and definitely don't forget how to do the trigger mech

there is a good guide on utube, do you know any good sites with helpful walk throughs?

You will also need a new piston if you upgrade the spring from what I have read on other sites. You could just upgrade the spring but other parts will wear faster.

There are guides on youtube for taking a GSpec apart to upgrade it. You will need a drill to do it, there is a pin that has to be drilled out, thats the only hard part.

you can bring the vsr up to 375 without any upgrades I've been told so you should be grand

yeah an extra 20-30 fps isnt gonna cause and extra wear on the gun, if you go much higher then it will be the case.,

Just one thing, dont make the mistake I did and buy an AEG spring instead of a sniper one:p

You dont need anything new but you will need to drill out a small pin on the cylinder head cylinder. The guide on youtube shows you how to do this.
