I have one and the sim card doesnt go the whole way in but is pushed back as i push it in, the battery seems to be required to keep the sim card in is this correct?

when i have it like this the phone constantly goes blank and then comes up please insert sim card, anyone have any idea? is it a common problem? am i putting the sim in wrong?

yup, Im getting this too. The battery does hold it in place - but not very well.
Its grand for a while, but then the sim seems to slip out behind the battery. It's really annoying. Happening all day and I only got it yesterday!

Just use a tiny bit of ducttape or wedge a piece of paper between battery and sim!

You shouldnt have to hold it in
Push it in as far as you can and it clicks into place and then push again and it releases
It works like memory card slots with a double latch system
