    Pretty crappy quality from a point and shoot but I've been playing around with them while waiting till I can get my hands on my first ever dSLR in a month. Loving the new version of Aperture by the way!

    Anyway here they are:

    This is the first one - pretty standard canyon shot but I liked the shadows;

    This is the second - a famous church in Moscow at sunset. I love the themes of modern Russia running through this photo - the church, representing religion of course, and the smoke plumes, which bring to mind the rampant industrialism in the country. I also like the writing on the building on the right!

    Finally, the third - same church but no direct sun. Less risky, but in a way I prefer the second one.

    For my first ever C&C, I'd love to get some feedback, good or bad...

    is it just me, or does there seem to be a halo-like-glow around the church..

    Fine shots. The DLSR will move your already good photography to a higher plane.
