    Ok so heres what happened. My mam put my Ipod Nano (ist gen) in the washing machine and then tried to turn it on which I have read fries the circuits. Any hope for it. Right now it is drying out on a radiator set on low. If there is no hope what mp3 would you suggest to play songs on the XBox.

    Cheers,
    Gav

    Wow, theres a world of problems right there!

    I'm open to correction here but:
    The water could have easily fried the circuitry, possibly rendering the battery, memory , mainboard or any combination of them ,useless

    Ok i really doubt there is much you can do here. how do you connect to the Xbox, usb? Does it need to be a mp3 player?

    Ok thanks just wondering if there was any hope for the Ipod. Well I'm looking for a mp3/4 player that isn't an Ipod as you cant play Itunes on the XBox. Oh and how would you get Itunes songs onto another type of mp3 player.

    Thanks again,
    Gav

    Do you even need an mp3 player? If i wanted to play mp3 from my Ps3 a memory stick would do the job. Did you connect up the ipod to the Xbox via the bottom connector or the headphone slot?

    As for music, if you were uploading music from cds itunes defaultly(did i just make this word up?!) puts them in(as far as i can remeber):

    My Documents---->My Music---->Itunes music--->library

    or something like that. Thats where your music would have been stored, how you put it on to your next mp3 will depend on the player its self, might be a case of just dragging that music across to a folder, or it might involve using a program to do it(similar to itunes)
