Just out of pure curiosity(ok noseyness :p), just wondering how many if any of our regularish poker posters are not from Ireland and have no actual connection to Ireland, that is they are just part of this forum coz they enjoy it.

Yeah, I suppose unlikely will get many if any 'non sarcy' ;) replies here alright. Just when Kraken from Slovakia(or somewhere like that) said he had found boards via google, just wondered was there many more like that, just popped into my head to ask now. :)

Hectorjelly wasn't actually born. He was assembled from the body parts of dead poker legends and then brought to life. I think he has Puggy Pearson's ears.

I wouldn't be so sure about that one. Philistines - weren't they the same lot as the Phoenicians. I think a few boat loads of them might have arrived in Ireland a few millenia ago ;)

I was born in Scotland and came here with ex hubby 5.5 years ago. I have no family here but prob wont be heading back any time soon. I have Irish heritage, but born and bred Scots.

Long time reader, short time poster... long story.

I'm Australian, and have been in Ireland for nearly 6 years now. Even longer story...

Ye're not quite the type of Philistines I meant....;)

What I meant was people who had absolutely no connection to Ireland... that is they don't live there etc etc. But as Lloyd said there was never likely to be any respondents that fitted that bill, so ye'll have to do :p

I only came here for a job, 2 years max, then off to Antigua for another stint in the marina's.

First night, I meet this Irish lass and the rest is history. Ancient history.
