    Hi all,

If i just get a USB-to-USB cable, can i link up 2 laptops, create a LAN and play AOM using the one disk for the game that i own? If not, how can i?

    Thanks

No, because your USB ports are not network adaptors.

Your best bet would probably be to use a crossover ethernet cable, you can then assign one laptop a network address and use that network address as the default gateway for the other laptop. But a better option would be to use a hub or (even better) a switch.

Crossover cable will do the job.. in fairness, a switch would be overkill for a game of AOM
