Well at least it didn't get canned all together and they are continuing. I hope they air the whole lot this year and not split it too much. Though I'd say at this late stage, they might give 10-12 episodes now and then break for the Summer and hopefully re-start in September. Pushing the 2nd half out till this time next year would suck donkey balls.

It gets worse... If they do split the season they will air 10 episodes starting 4th april, ending Friday 4th of June, leaving us on yet another cliff hanger for over 6 months. And to make it worse again i was watching special edition of razor, and each actor says what their fav episode of bsg so far is. One charactor

i hear ya dude!

but to be honest i'm delighted that the second half of s4 is being made at all after the strike, if they release the second half in sept i would be delighted, with the first 10 ep finishing in june, all in all i can't wait and will watch the 3 seasons before they release the 4th;)

Very True, it was always going to be made, if not on TV then direct to DVD then a book. With BSG i knew no matter what i would get an ending.

As for firefly... so much left to tell...

I wonder if this'll be the penultimate ending to Galactica... I would have loved to see film made for cinema release, Galatica on the big screen would be awesome... ahhh well... Cant wait, i don't mind if its played out, the ending (if its good) will be so much more worth it that way

The creator of the orginal series has the movie rights, so I don't see it happening anytime soon if any.

This is the last season theres no doubt to that. It was officially announced a while ago. The running theory I had before that announcement was that season 4 would be considered the 5th and final act of the Play, for which BSG seems to be surrounding itself with - everyone in the show is playing out a part that 'has happened before and will happen again.' Act One was the miniseries; then you had seasons 1-4. Kinda fitting, in my opinion.

Sick of waiting. Totally lost my excitement. Can't believe they're gonna stretch the rest of it 'til next year. Really disillusioned and deflated now tbh. BSG was, in my opinion, the greatest TV show I'd ever seen. This never ending wait has just killed it for me.

Well at least they have the opportunity to wrap it up properly. Heard somewhere scrubs had to leave the last few episodes to the dvd box set as they cant/wont/unable to air the remaining few. Sh1tty way to send off a tv series IMHO.

I agree.
First 2 series were awesome .
Its like a drug addict needing his fix.
The delay for season 4 is just too long.
13 months is an eternity in this day and age.
Only 1 month to go though ,hopefully the wait will be worth it.

Myself and my fiance are currently watching it again from the movie to razor.. God DAMN its certainly the best series on television.... I am cracking up waiting for season 4, here is hoping its not full of "filler" episodes!!:eek:

Very few if any filler episodes in BSG every episode plays some part in the overall story. There are no fire and forget episodes in bsg. each one in some way deals with one of the charactors status or the main story arc. I love it
