    Quick question:

Someone was trying to convince me that the delivery report time stamp indicates the time the msg was sent, not the actual time it was delivered.

I would have thought it was the time it was delivered to the recipent?

    Is this the case?

turn your phone off, then get someone to send you a message. a few minutes later, turn your phone back on and check the delivery report time on the sender's phone. voila

you should leave it abuot 10-15 minutes because the time servers might be a bit off
