    Hi

    Just curious about how long it should take to receive your certificate.

    We're on about 7 weeks now - is this normal?

    I'm not 100% sure on this, but I seem to remember you have to actually apply to get a copy - it isn't sent automatically after the wedding.

    Found it on a website yesterday evening.

    You have to apply for it, which naturally costs you a tenner. :rolleyes:

    Compared to the cost of everything on the day itself, that's not so bad!

    Ain't that the truth!

    Still don't see why it can't be pre-charged & sent out automatically. Are there really people who don't want their cert?

    It took 8 working days to send out my cert after i requested a copy.

    you can pop in to any registrey office and get a copy in about 30 seconds ;)

    True,but i thought 8 days was quick enough when i ordered over the phone besides i always get caught at the wrong time in them places and have to wait for a good while.:rolleyes:
