connect WinXP PC to Mac running Win XP on parallels

    Has anyone any experience with the above?
    I've added the WinMac to the same domain as the WinPC but the machines still can't ping or see one another via Windows Explorer. The Mac is on a strange subnet with a gateway I can only assume is some virtual thing set up by Parallels. The WinMac has an IP in the 10.255.X.X range while the WinPC is on 192.168.0.15. Google is not being very helpful...

    You need to select the network adaptor in the devices > network adaptor menu... that should your win / mac pc on the local network with its own fixed or DHCP IP.
