Basically myself and my gf are trying to think of something different to do this weekend other than the usual drink/club thing.

It occurred to me there isn't really a lot of non-drinking non-mundane stuff to do at the weekend, particularly at night, in Ireland.

All suggestions welcome, based in Dublin. And nothing sexual, tried all that already :D

    ...and drink.

Find a small gig to go to, Radio City or one of those places and hang out.

Take the bus tours - its not something you would normally think of doing but I have done them three times with three sets of people over the years and they are excellent. There is a lot of stuff to miss when you are busy living your life. And its cheap. Plus if you do the one that goes past guiness you can get a pint in the tower there.

Plus you can do it all day - it takes hours and hours. By 6 oclock you can go for your dinner in Yamamori by the ha'penny bridge and then go home to bed.

These all opening at night now?

Do the ghost bus tour thing, that looks okay and it runs at night.

But that's all the way up in Dublin, charities are all over the country so more available to all.

There is one thing this country has and that is lots of hills and mountains. Go out and explore them!
