What do you think of the new man?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bqp64q7kHmw

For those who dont follow the soccer threads one of the Worlds top managers will be unveiled as ROI manager today. Its been a long wait with loads of speculation but finally it looks over.

However, If John Delaney of the FAI was to come out tomorrow and not unveil Trapattoni after all this what would your reaction be? Since this is the FAI we are dealing with such a possibility of a monumental cock up can never be ruled out.

Myself I think Delaney would probrably not get out of the press conference in one piece.

Over 2 million a year well spent?

P.S - wanted to ask for opinions here cause its always the same small amount of posters on the soccer threads. I dont intend this to be a thread discussing the intricacies of football or anything like that. Just looking for the common man's opinion on the new boss:)

No, thats a frapattoni. A trappatoni is the method the directors of The Sopranos used to end the series

Have thought that myself, but i dont want to even think they'll feck this up now. Up until a few weeks back i really though it would be some washed-up prem league manager. If it wasn't Trapattoni, i think Delaney would have quashed the rumour early, there's no point dangling a sausage in front of the fans faces then kicking them in the balls (anybody other than Trapattoni)

I'm not big into soccer, but watch the irish matchs in the pubs and long for the day when we actually qualified for something. All the fair weather fans who jump on the rugby bus when the soccer when to feck, will be back to their armchair critics post if we qualify for WC 2010.

    Please God 2010:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
