Alright there everybody, please forgive our first post being a plug, but this video podcast is only available for two more weeks and then it's gone! Figured there could be a good few Biffy fans on this board.

AU Magazine has the pleasure of presenting an exclusive video podcast of Biffy Clyro, live and unplugged, as a free download. You’ve got to be quick with this one though – it’s only going to be available for download over the next three weeks.

The three-headed Scotttish rock behemoth first appeared way back in AU Issue 5, and most recently they were the cover stars of Issue 38. They are band who are very close to our hearts and we have relished seeing their star ascend over the years. We were well chuffed when they were able to stop off in Belfast during their recent tour to record a stripped down acoustic set of both hits and rarities.

Once again we teamed up with the awesome people from the Kick Out The Jams TV programme, which airs on Belfast station Northern Visions, to produce the show. This is the first of a new series of weekly podcasts that the show will be making available, and is also the first what will be monthly AU / KOTJ sessions. You’ll be able to access past shows from the likes of The Rumble Strips and The Young Knives, as well as future sessions from acts like The Republic Of Loose.

Kick Out The Jams will also be pimping out the finest in Northern Irish music too, with a host of past sessions from the likes of And So I Watch You From Afar, Desert Hearts, Cat Malojian and many more soon to be made available for free direct download.

The instructions for accessing the Biffy Clyro session, and all the other Kick Out The Jams sessions, is pasted below.

    HOW IT ALL WORKS

Each week will see the release of the latest programme (which usually lasts 20-30mins) to the World Wide Web, plus an occasional episode from the archives. You can subscribe for free to the podcast in various ways. If you have iTUNES, simply click on the link below, or simply go to the iTunes store and search for 'Kick out the Jams NvTv' or ‘Biffy Clyro’. You will then be able to watch the episode on iTunes or transfer it to your ipod etc

Alternatively you can use the increasingly popular RSS feed. The RSS feed can be used in many different ways, and by many different site (especially search engines you may use for your homepage, such as google, yahoo etc). For example if you have a personalised google homepage (you need to sign up for a google account for this), you can click on 'add stuff' (right hand side), then click on 'add RSS feed', then copy and paste the link below. A link to the video podcast should now appear on your google homepage.
If you use a firefox as your browser it may appear as a bookmark link.

Not sure if it works the same way on a PC as we use Macs in the office, but if you subscribe to the RSS feed you can watch the video through QuickTime direct from the feed, on a web page, without downloading iTunes.
