    7 hour one night music festival


    Childline Rocks is a fundraiser for Irelands best known listening service for children. All acts have waivered their performance fees in order to help raise as much money as possible through this fantastic event.

    The 3 stage concert is geared towards live music lovers in the 18 – 35 age bracket. The line up consists of the country’s most cutting edge and prolific rock & indie acts of today.

    Childline Rocks 2007 saw a sellout concert at The Village on Wexford St. Headliners were the mighty Republic of Loose & The Blizzards. This year is over twice the scale and is to be staged at The Academy. The promoters expect to sell out again with over 1,400 tickets available from 9am February 1st.

    Star Stage The Irish Daily Star are the concert’s main sponsor. The Scene supplement every Friday is Ireland’s most popular gig / club reference. This stage will host 5 live acts the caliber of which would sell out The Academy solo. Top DJs will play afterwards late into the night.

    Phantom105.2 Stage The PPI Local Radio Station of the year 2007 are sponsors of the concert’s second stage. This stage will be more leaning toward the more electronic area of today’s live scene. The 5 acts booked to perform here are the most highly acclaimed in today's scene. Top DJs will play afterwards late into the night.

    Songs Of Praise Stage Join Rory Montane, Sister Barbara and a very special Guest Host for some songs of faith an devotion and the best Rock + Roll Karaoke in the land. It’s all about releasing the inner Rock Star by way of a big stage, a very loud sound system and a credible song list. Think Van Halen, Kaiser Chiefs, Van, U2, The Sex Pistols. There's no ABBA or Kylie on OUR list – only Air Guitar Anarchy!
