I saw a thread on another site recently talking about the Fiat Dino and it got me rooting out some old pics.
This was me over ten years ago on a trip to Le Mans in my big yellow Fiat. In this picture our back up car (reliable old Volvo) had broken down and I towed it the last few miles to the ferry.
I posted a few other pics on another site but they're not very good. I hope that you all get a laugh out of this one..

Oh, btw that's not me looking under the bonnet of the Volvo, it was an old friend of mine, Kevin. Just in case he gets upset!

I've always had a big soft spot for the FIAT Dino coupés.

I love it! A FIAT Dino towing a Volvo!

I wanted a Dino (any Dino) a few years ago but could only afford a rough 124 Spider!

    Where is it now, carlos?

Hi Dades, I sold the car to a man in the West of Ireland. Nice bloke actually. I really hope that he did some work on it and has it on the road.
It was a smashing car and my first "exotic" classic. It even made a few tv appearances being on the old Irish car show (I think it was called 'drive' or 'driven') and also in Podge & Rodge! I miss it, especially the noise...
As it happens, I also have a 124 spider and wouldn't part with it for the world so you have made a very good choice. I've had mine since the early 1990's.

I am jealous - I miss the sound of those webers! I sold mine last year but it's been seen since so I'm hopeful it might be at a show this year.

By the way I still have the (aftermarket) roll bar for my Spider if you are interested. Or even if you know someone who could use it. Free for collection in Dublin!

Very kind of you Dades, not for me though. I'll say it to a few people and might even get you a few quid. Thanks for the offer though!
