Would you consider a career advisor perhaps? They won't be as subjective interperting results of the test, for example...

What interests/hobbies to you like? Base your job choices on those.

Apparently there is a book out there called "What colour is your parachute" which is supposed to be helpful to those looking for a career change. Have not read it myself, but throwing it out there as maybe other posters can reveal whether it is worth checking out or not?

I've heard that being recommended as well.

There have been a few threads here before about people asking for a good career guidance advisor to talk to, and I don't think there's been one recommendation yet.

James Sweetman (http://www.jamessweetman.com/) does alot of work with students where I'm in college (NCI). He seems to have his head screwed on very well and has walked the walk. (rose thru the ranks of an insurance firm, realised it wasn't for him and transfered over to business coaching).

I'm not sure if he's exactly suitable for the OP's needs but it's an option to consider if nothing else!

    You could try here. http://www.prospects.ac.uk/cms/ShowPage/Home_page/Interactive_advice/p!eacXi
It's geared more at graduate but you'd still get a good enough idea. Try the 'What Jobs Would Suit Me?' part.
