Internet slow/unreliable

    Is it just me, or has the internet in UCD been slow this week? I have tested both wired and wireless connections, with poor results. I have spoken to others who have been having similar issues.

    Yeah definately hasn't been too hot for the past while - was very bad down in Health Sciences today - pages weren't even loading. Very annoying.

    Bit better on res though.

    Haven't noticed it at all.

    Infact I was downloading at 1350Kbps just last Thursday on the library wi-fi. :cool:

    Yes, very slow and very annoying. Only noticed it on the wireless though.

    Tbh, sitting on a ucd pc now and it seems even slower than wi - fi.

    Boards actually timed out on me!

    Yeah I dont get that.Why would someone write about crimes they've commited on campus on facebook?:confused: Panda doesnt get how the snooping works?

    Internet connection driving me mad today.I havent been able to open gmail all week!

    I noticed I was downloading at normal rates but webpages were really slow loading during the week :confused:

    Annoying here in Roebuck, more so yesterday and before, but not now. Few times its awful! Got ok today though.

    Doesn't Quinn have its own network separate from the rest of UCD?

    The Wi-Fi in Health Science was woeful yesterday, pages wouldn't load, files were downloading at a whopping 12 KB/s... Then it seemed to fix itself. Weird.
