Heading shopping in Boston on Thursday, now I know of all the usual shops, A&F, Guess, Macy's etc.

Can anyone recommend any other shops in Boston?

Its a good while ago that I was in Boston but as far as I remember the prudential center has some of the usual american high street shops in it:
    http://www.prudentialcenter.com/

and then copley place has all the designer shops in it, which were way out of my budget!

Also there is definitely an outlet somewhere outside of Boston, but you would have to google it.

Go to the Chambridge side Galleria in cambridge, about 5 mins on subway from doentown Boston, get off red line at Kendal/MIT stop and there is a shuttle bus from there.

Also, if you can, go to the outlets in Wrentham, about 40 mins south of Boston, buses may go from South Sattion but I am not sure.

Go to TJ Maxx i downtown Bston, they call it TJ over there instead of TK, anyway it's a lot better than your avaerage TK Maxx here and you'll get some superb bargains, i got a Polo Ralph Lauren polo shirt for like 30 dollars, the very same ones are Eur 80 in Brown Thomas here, (and before anyone asks it is 100% original)other than that try Macys, etc.

We were there just after Christmas for a few days. We took the subway south to Braintree then a short taxi ride to South Shore Plaza - a fairly large mall. Only about 40 mins on the train. And included within the 7 day pass that you can get.

There is also a big retail park with large stores, rather than a shopping center, a short walk from the Braintree T Station, it includes a Best Buy, Borders Book and a few more, I can't remember the name of the place but it is close to the T stop

Around Quincy Market and Nathaniel Hall (the old parts of the city, on the river) are lots of shops and nice stalls (it's a covered market) with restaurants , coffee shops and bars. You mightn't do any serious shopping there but it's a great place to stroll around and pick up something unusual.
