Hey folks, just a quick question. There is a case up in court in Limerick tomorrow that I would like to go to observe. The case is at 10.30, so is there a time you must be in by, i.e. is their a morning session where all observants must be seated by a certain time etc. I have never been to court before (thank god!:)), so I am just curious to the formalities involved. Many thanks in advance.

No formalities at all - just behaviour while entering/leaving and in the court must be such as not to disturb anyone so the 2litre bottle of coke and sandwiches in 400 plastic bags would be a non runner! Certain cases won't allow any observers - these are known as being conducted In Camera - and are mainly Family Law/Domestic Violence cases but other than that there are no restrictions
