    Greeting folks,

Just wanted to drop you a quick line to let you know that VC Poker Ireland is hosting an Irish Open Freeroll at 21.15 GMT on Thursday 28th February. The Prize Pool includes a $7,500 Irish Open Package to the winner as well as a $5,000 guaranteed prize pool for everyone that participates. See site for details.

Please note that this freeroll is exclusive to new players signing up with www.vcpoker.ie from February 1st onwards, but we are pleased to announce that we have made a special exception for those players who’ve played to date in the cash buy-in events for our VC Poker Ireland / Boards Poker League. Login into your VC Poker account from today onwards and you’ll find a free Irish Open Freeroll token in your account which you can redeem to secure your entry to the freeroll for one last shot to qualify for the €3 Million Guaranteed at this year’s Open. Thanks for your play with VC Poker Ireland to date and best of luck in the tourney.

Of course, with only 2000 seats available and high demand expected, players are advised to register early to secure their seat and avoid disappointment. For those players determined to qualify, for free or otherwise, VC Poker continues to offer 2-satellites-for-the-price-of-1 to the Irish Open throughout February. Simply participate in any Irish Open Super Satellite at VC Poker.ie and should you fail to qualify, VC Poker Ireland will invite you to play in another exclusive Irish Open Freeroll gratis for another chance at qualification.

Does it not allow you to select the tourney token from some kind of drop down menu when trying to register?

If you can't, then get onto Live Support who'll be able to sort you out

On VC theres a Boards.ie freeroll series, (not to be mixed up with the IO ticket sat) anyone any info on this, sorry if I've missed a tread.

Edit: Found the tread and the link which no longer works "forget all about this, to late now"

    Hi Mob,

I've just spoken with our support staff and the issue you're likely encountering is due to the fact that the Irish Open Freeroll is only available to players on the vcpoker.ie site, because it's an event we wanted to offer exclusively to our Irish players. If you're trying to use the token from a vcpoker.com account, it won't work as this tournament is not offered on the .com site.

To quickly explain, we made the boards league tournaments available on both the .com and .ie sites for the benefits of those of you on boards who'd already had an existing account on the .com and didn't want to close that account to play on VC Poker Ireland exclusively. If you currently have a .com account only, you'll need to migrate to an .ie account to take advantage of this particular freeroll token. Please PM me with your current username if you wish to migrate accounts and I will arrange with support to get you sorted straightaway.

All you need to do is accrue 10 Action Points on www.vcpoker.ie to qualfify for registration for the $12,500 Irish Open Freeroll. 10 APs can literally be earned from as little as one raked hand played (depending on the table limit you play of course), so qualifying for the freeroll is exceedingly simple: just open a real money account and earn the minimal APs required. Good luck.

    Hi guys,

Just a quick reminder that there's now less than a week (6 days to be precise) to register for our $12,500 Irish Open Freeroll. If you haven't secured your seat in the Open yet, you won't find a better value chance to qualify than this.

I think it would be a good idea if you hired staff who can speak English beyond a primary school level. I spent 10 minutes on the phone today speaking to someone who had worse English skills than the average parakeet.

lol, its a problem that a lot of companies (not just in poker) seem to have.

Why do Vc poker not take moneybookers?
Must be the only ipoker site that doesn't
