    Hi all

My phone is on the blink so I have tried to use the itouch as an alarm. Problem is that it doesn't make any sound when the alarm goes off. (I thought I tried it a couple of months ago and it did make a sound). I know the itouch hasnt got a proper speaker however when I go into the alarm settings I can change the sound I want for the alarm and it does make an audible sound

Is this the way all itouch's are, or is there something wrong with mine?

    Cheers

Afaik I know the reason is because it doesn't have speakers.
The idea is you buy one of those ipod docks with speakers and plug it into that overnight.

There is nothing wrong with yours, that's just the way there were designed. It's a good idea to have ipod speakers anyway

Cheers - I actually do have speakers but never thought of using it that way. I really thought that it was audible before tho', especially given when you select the alarm sound you want you can hear it. I must be just going mad

Edit: Just doing a bit of further digging- I did a reboot (full shut down) and it is working now. Also I read that if you have a passcode lock on it wont work
