'The Wire' wins Best Drama at the WGA award

    The good old WGA, in between striking, decided to honour 'The Wire' as the Best Drama this year! It's fitting that it wins a writing award, given that is probably its greatest strength.

    In the scheme of things,probably not a big award,but it is from the people who know what they are talking about-the writers. It is the best written show on and tv and apparantly only the writers and a handful of viewers can see this!

    Hard to argue with it. The Wire is very well written, they seamlessly pull all the threads together. Well done to the writers.
