At last, it works a treat, no more than 15 seconds to get into a game!!!!!!

Yeah it's much better allright. No more than about 10 seconds wait for me so far.

I still get error 33 but after about 6 go's I connect to the network.

Working absolutely perfect for me now too.About 6-10 seconds to get into a game. The very odd time the lobby closes but it's really not an issue. No lag, more people with headsets etc. Brilliant patch and it was about fcking time too

TBH its a brilliant patch. Never really had much trouble joining games before but I never wait more than 5-10 seconds and I'm in. Especially good with the game modes that aren't used too often like Old School and such.

So far I've found that the patch made no real difference for me, I never had a problem finding players or games.

Headsets = necessity for clan games
Headsets = PITA (Pain In The Ass) for FFA (free-for all). The sooner they release a patch allowing me to mute noise from other headsets the better. Very annoying in FFA.

Does the patch download automatically for the PS3? What patch version no. is the most recent for the PS3: V 1.4 or v 1.5?

Cant remember the Version number but it didn't download automatically for me, when I inserted the COD4 BD, I had to approve the download by hitting the X-button.

The patch hasn't solved everyone's problem. Head over to the Infinity Ward official forums and have a look around. A lot of unhappy gamera over there.
