My sister lives in lexington. Not a huge ammount to do, but it is a nice city. Excellent shopping, There is a big Irish community, and plenty of Irish pubs. If horses are your thing you will be well entertained. There are plenty of stud farms to visit. There is a big university in lex and they are big into basketball, going to a match is fun.
There are a couple of steak restaurants called Malones, I have had some of the best steak I have ever eaten there.
You can also do a parachute jump about an hours drive from lexington.
    Hope this all helps.
