    Any DE experts out there?

Got this today. The spring on the slide felt very weak and when cocking
somtimes did not even return the slide fully.

Pistol itself was very dry but had signs of a bit of grease
(Think some people mentioned lithium?? grease before but
    dunno where to buy)
Sprayed everything with Silicone spray and in doing so broke the nozzle
rendering my almost full can of spray useless. It freed out a bit
but still the slide feels very sluggish I reckon it needs some Airsoft compatible grease.

First problem: The Mags. I got two. Both wont fill correctly.
Cant seem to get a good seal on them when filling with the either
134A or Propane. (Doing the usualy filling upside down etc)
I get some gas into one and a little bit more into the other but
there is a lot of gas escapeing when I try and fill.
(Dont have that issue on my other GBB's)
I think out of all my GBB's the WE M1911 mags fill
    flawlessly and almost totally silent.

Second problem: I mange to get some gas into the mags. One of the mags
fires most of the mag then stops yet has loads of gas left over.
The other mag gives up half way and actually releases all of the gas at once
    is a big SHHHHHPoofff!!.

Third problem: The thing will not fire on Auto. Setting it to Single fire
or Auto fire results in Single Fire only.

With the few shots I got in with Propane there is a few satisfying
twack out of it when firing.

Happy with the physical end of this GBB but am unhappy that
I got problems out of the box.

    Hi Bullets.
First off, are you still talking about the KWC Desert Eagle when you mention that it doesn't fire in full auto? The Desert Eagle is a semi-automatic handgun, it has no automatic fire mode.

As for the gas and the magazines, well, literally every single magazine is different unfortunately, all my KSC USP magazines (all 4 of them) loose a lot of gas when filling, i'd say almost as much gas is leaked as actually goes into the magazine itself. But you may find that if you move the gas canister around in a circular motion when filling, that less gas is leaked if you lean it in one direction.

As for the slide not returning fully, some lubrication would be recommended. We get the odd pistol in, fully sealed, with little oil or grease on their actions. If you can get your hands on another can of silicon oil, or a tub of grease, it should work fine.

Let us know how you get on.
    Steve

I have one of these, Out of all my GBBs it seems to leak worst when being filled i only have one magazine.

The same happens me sometimes with the gas purge but i think it's because you have to give the mag a good slap in.

Finally i don't believe it's meant to have Auto fire, i know it has a two stage safety, I think on the RS it has something to do with just blocking the firing pim or something here is the RS Owners manual it probably says what it's all about http://www.magnumresearch.com/images/DEP.pdf

Cheers guys will try and fiddle about with it a bit more in the morning
and take some pics to post. Lovely bit of Kit the ABS is great quality.

I had assumed this was Semi Auto only.
Reason I mentioned the Auto was that the safety has 3 positions.
On the Paper Manual that comes with it it states that middle setting is
semi and the upper most setting was Auto. Maybe something got
lost in the translation of the manual and the third setting was cosmetic only.

Cheers for the RS manual too Zero I was going to go looking for it
as the lads in work could not believe a pistol fires .50 diameter rounds.
