Based on the following assumptions would it be possible for someone (a first timer) to be able to built a PC for less than €150?
    • Monitor,USB keyboard and USB mouse, 1x CD-RW and an ATX case (with 2x 5.25 inch and 2x 3.5 inch bays, but no power supply) are taken from an old disused PC
    • A €0 operating system like Ubuntu
    • No second hand parts bought
    • PC must have 512MB RAM, and can be networked (wired)
    • €150 includes shipping and VAT.

Probably not with decent parts. You could buy cheap PSU's, motherboards etc but as the saying goes "Buy cheap buy twice"

    Agreed, it's do-able, but not recommended :)

My advice would be to keep an eye on the Clearance and Bargain sections of sites like Komplett and Dabs and it's a *maybe*, but you'd be pushing it tbh.
