Resistance bands?

Okay, I know most of you proper 'herculean-type' weight lifters will probably laugh at this but bear in mind, I'm a weakling :D

Are resistance bands any good? I know Reebok do them in 3 levels of resistance but if used properly in conjunction with some free weight workouts will they be useful?

Anyone here used them before? Experience?

Actually, a lot of the big lads will use them. The argos types are probably a little weak you can get proper ones online. If you want a feel for them first you can try an old bicycle tube.
