Buying engagement ring online

Has anyone bought their engagement ring from a website without seeing the ring/diamond in advance. I've seen a few links on the engagement ring sticky but I get the impression that poeple buying there had seen the diamonds themselves first.
I'm specifically thinking of buying from http://www.365-diamond.com/
    Has anyone ever used them?
The prices seem really good compared to anything in the shops in town and I like a lot of their designs too. Just a bit wary about buying something that exspensive and important from a website.
The diamonds are all certified and valued so I'm thinking the price difference might be worth the risk...

    Thanks jubi lee,
Thats exactly the link that I saw 365-diamond on. People there seemed to be using it as a reference though. No mention of anyone buying off it unfortunately. Has nobody on here bought their engagement ring from a website?

I'm trying to find out exactly the same thing, 365 seem to be best for price etc.., but I can't find many people here that have actually bought from them, so wanted to see what personal experiences were like...

Sorry I don't know anything about the website, but I presume you are trying on the rings first? And then ordering the same ring but at a better price?

If not I would strongly suggest trying on the ring, it may be the style you like but it might not suit you when you try it on. I had a particular ring in mind, and wanted a twist in it, but when it came to trying it on I decided it didn't really suit my hand, and went for something totally different. At the time you should try it on with wedding bands too, just to get a feel for what might go together. I have read a lot of stories where people get very 'flashy' (for want of a better word) engagement rings and then find it difficult when it comes to trying to put a wedding band with it.
Just sharing my experience so that hopefully you won't have any hassles down the line!
